The EC6000 check imager from RDM Corporation is a state of the art check imaging solution that allows you to accept checks as a form of payment that will automatically clear as a credit card transaction would.

The EC6000 offers a small form factor and is compatiable with most credit card processing terminals. In fact, we will assure connectivity to your terminal or MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) solution.

The connection to your system is made via a USB port. There are ways to expand your EC6000 with options such as an acknowledgment printer, internal alphanumeric OCR (Optical Character Recognition) or a Magnetic Stripe reader, to name a few. The EC6000 delivers the highest MICR read accuracy by using RDM’s patented Progressive MICR Method. This will result in lower administrative returns due to misreads and/or rejections.

The RDM EC6000 check reader allows a merchant an efficient method to take advantage of check processing and imaging at the point of sale. There is reduced paperwork and a reduction in administrative processing of a typical (paper) check transaction.
